The Uber Eats Sandwich Studio pops up in Potters Field to serve the world’s first Michelin-starred meal deal

Working with Uber Eats’ marketing teams to bring their “When Youโ€™ve Done Enough” platform, we created and then served-up the world’s first “Michelin-star Meal Deals” – with gourmet sarnies, handmade crisps and bougie soft drinks at the Uber Eats “Sandwich Studio”.

Standing 7.5 metres high, the green Uber Eats Big Bag housed a pop-up sandwich bar fronted by the Michelin-chef duo, Jack Croft and Will Murray (who are behind the Fallow, FOWL and Roe restaurants).

The Sandwich Studio was a place where busy Londoners who had “done enough” for one morning could sit back and enjoy a rather fantastic luncheon – and get away from standard “al desko dining”.

The curated menu feature gourmet twists on classic meal deal favourites; the Coronation Chicken was given an upgrade to Coronation Lobster, whilst the Cheese and โ€˜Honionโ€™ featured marinated feta and oozing hot honey. Each sandwich went with some hand-cooked crisps and a soda to pair perfectly with the flavours of the sandwich.

Word soon got out about the pop-up thanks to a big burst of pre-event coverage, alongside paid and organic social content, resulting in a snaking queue forming half an hour before the doors opened – with stock selling out in record time.

The meal deals were also available in Manchester and Liverpool later on in the week, delivered to your door by Uber Eats riders. Almost 200 pieces of coverage rolled in throughout the course of the campaign, with highlights including ย The London Standard,ย Daily Mirrorย and many, many more.
