The Campaign Big Awards took place last night and – alongside a host of agency partners – we picked up no fewer than five gongs for our work with the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
For those not familiar with the campaign, we โ an agency team including Adam&Eve/DDB, the7Stars, Creative Giants, ITV and the team at Hope&Glory โ alighted on the statistic that suicide is now the leading cause of death for people under 34 in the UK, with women under the age of 24 forming the fastest-growing group in history at risk of taking their own lives.
โMissed birthdaysโ highlighted how 6,929 young people died by suicide in the past decade with an installation at Westfield London featuring the same number of balloons illustrating the birthdays young people didnโt get to celebrate.
Visitors walked through the installation and heard intimate voice notes from loved ones who have lost a young person to suicide, describing what they were like and what they hope to achieve in being part of the โMissed Birthdaysโ campaign.
It was highly impactful work and a campaign that we remain intensely proud to have been part of.
The campaign won Best Charity Campaign, Best Experiential Campaign, Best OOH (Single) Campaign and won Best Campaign of the night overall.
